Job Description

Live-in caregiver needed for a couple in North London. The support is mainly for the wife who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The client can walk unaided but need supervisoin with all aspects of her care such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, domestic help. Whilst the support is mainly for the wife, the live-in caregiver is also required to prepare meals for the husband and provide support when his hourly caregivers are not there. The husband uses a full body hoist and double-up visits will be provided. 

START DATE: ASAP

Our Live-in caregivers support clients in their own home 7 days a week, assisting with a range of duties which may include: 

• medication 
• home help tasks such as light cleaning
• shopping 
• meal preparation
• companionship 
• personal care

We believe teamwork is key and our caregivers will work closely with our office team, reporting on tasks, activities etc. through an online portal and telephone calls. 

Qualifications

We are looking for vibrant, enthusiastic, and caring individuals who are passionate about providing the highest quality of care - just like we do! 

Essential:

• At least 12 months of professional care experience in a live-in role
• Friendly, approachable and caring with a desire to help others
• Reliable, punctual, compassionate, honest & trustworthy
• A good level of written and spoken English

Desirable:

• Full UK driving license and access to a car

Our Live-in caregivers are provided with a daily food allowance, rest breaks, a private room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.
