Live in Carer required by Award Winning Company for lovely Clients in Worcestershire.

Our unique Live in Service was launched earlier this year and is going from strength to strength. As a result, we have immediate opportunities for 2 more Live in Carers.

If you have experience and a good track record in delivering excellent live in care then please read on to find out more about the lovely Client packages we have that are due to start shortly.

Package Summary:

• Clients – 1) A delightful elderly couple requiring moderate levels of support & driving; 2) A very pleasant elderly lady requiring moderate levels of support and some personal care.
• Client location & your accommodation – your own immaculate room, with ensuite bathroom, TV etc. in a nice and tidy house with a lovely garden.
• You – must have an appropriate amount of relevant experience in the care sector, and be available to start in the new year.
• 24/7 support - dedicated full time support (including out of office hours) from Rhoda, your locally based Live in Care Manager, and via our locally based 'on call' phone service based in Worcester.

Your pay and benefits :

• Salary £525 - £625 per week (depending on experience and complexity of package)

The role

As one of our team of live in carers you will be living in our clients home helping them with daily support which may include – preparation of meals (possibly eating with them), mobility, medication, household chores such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and maybe assisting with personal care.

A vital part of this role will be to spend good quality time with the client providing companionship, smiles & laughter with the occasional social outing.

This position is normally 2/3 weeks on and 1 week off, however we try to be as flexible as possible taking into account your needs, your back to back LIC partners’ needs, and the needs of the client - which creates a happier and relaxed working environment for all involved.

Your Essential skills:

• A professional and caring attitude, with a natural desire to provide the best care.
• A relevant amount of experience within the care sector (live in, residential, home care – paid or unpaid).
• DBS – it will be helpful if you are signed up to the DBC Update Service, to prevent delays in starting.
• A driving licence is sometimes but not always essential as some clients like to get out and about in the community.
• A Care Certificate is great, but we can provide the necessary training (at no cost) to enable you to gain the most up to date Care Certificate.
• You need to be professional, tidy, organised and a good cook
• Reliability and Integrity are extremely important to us, along with good verbal and written English.

Reward

An excellent salary of £525 - £625 per week (depending on age, experience and qualifications) plus travel expenses, FOC training, paid holidays, pension, daily breaks and ongoing support (including out of office hours) from a locally based and dedicated Live in Care Manager.
