Job Description

Salary: Up to £600 per week (dependant on experience) + free accommodation 
Location: In South England’s beautiful county of Hampshire (1hr from London and right by the sea) 
Start date: ASAP 
Hours: A shift pattern of working several weeks or months at a time with a daily two hour break and then time off 
Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holidays

As a Bluebird Care Live in Care Worker you will be based full time in one of our customer’s homes, with the provision of a two-hour break each day. You won’t be required to pay rent and you’ll also receive your own room supplied with a TV. You will work alongside the customer, develop a relationship with them and provide a variety of help and support. 

You will be taking our high quality care & values into the community with our customers, so you will therefore need fantastic time keeping skills, be immaculately presented and boast excellent verbal and written communication skills.

As a Bluebird Care Live in Care Worker you will provide: 

• Household support 
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping 
• General companionship 
• Chaperoning to appointments/social visits 
• Personal care 
• Medication support 

As a Bluebird Live in Care Worker you will receive: 

• Free accommodation while on duty 
• High weekly salary of up to £600 per week 
• Meals provided 
• Your own room with TV 
• Daily time off 
• 24-hour support from the office team 
• Full induction and on-going training 

Live in Care Worker desirable Criteria: 

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or equivalent 
• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or as an unpaid carer 
• Knowledge of safeguarding matters 
• Working knowledge of health and safety matters relating to home care 
• Flexible approach to working
