Job Title: Healthcare assistant - Live In

Location: Greater London 

Salary: £90-110 per day

Working pattern: 2 or 4 weeks -  On / Off 

HFH Healthcare is a rapidly expanding complex healthcare service providing bespoke packages of care to highly dependent children and adults with a range of health conditions.

We are currently recruiting for motivated, friendly, carers to join our team as a Live-in Health Care Assistant. You will be working with a client with a multiple complex health conditions. Working as a Live-in carer is an opportunity to help the client to live independently and helping them remain in their own home. Based in the Greater London area we have multiple Live-in opportunities.

HFH Healthcare invests in Health Care Assistants and trains everyone to provide the highly specialist care interventions to match our patients need. Each Health Care Assistant receives patient-specific training and competence assessment delivered by our highly experienced Nursing Team.

Preferred skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience working as a live-in carer
  • Providing care within a home environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working within a hospital or care home environment
  • NVQ 2 or 3
  • Full driving licence would be advantages
  • Taking care of a client with a spinal cord injury and other complex health conditions


Duties:

  • Assisting with all manual handling
  • Communicating and engaging with the client
  • Assisting with equipment and all aspects of care
  • Bowel evacuation and management
