Part-time live-in carer, Warwickshire United Kingdom

Annual Salary £21,000 – 25,000 (subject to experience)

Holiday entitlement paid pro rata 

7 days on and 21 days off in each cycle –  may be required to cover further weeks when the full time carer is on holiday

Expected start date 10th June 2021 (as available)

A female carer is needed to support a middle to late aged lady who suffers from latent stages of Parkinson’s disease.  Previous live-in carer experience required, accommodation provided includes a separate bedroom, bathroom, food, kitchen and WiFi. Driving is not essential.  A good level of reading, writing and conversational English would be beneficial.  You would be supported for 4 – 6 hours on a daily basis by a visiting day carer.  

Duties will include: 

• Companionship – sharing conversation and spending time together
• Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing and, when necessary, continence support
• Helping with mobility – assistance getting around the home, wheelchair or assisted through aids
• Overseeing medication – according to the care plan including record keeping
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands – assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions
• Household chores – help around the home, such as basic housekeeping e.g. vacuuming, washing clothes, tidying etc. directly around the person you will be caring for

Must have the right to work and live in the United Kingdom.
