Start & End Date : Around November and over Christmas time (24 hour handover required)

Rate : Please advise

Paid when : Paid weekly by a solicitor by bank transfer

Driver : Preferred, own car required

Pets : No

Location : Andover, Hampshire

Breaks : 2 – 3 hours daily

Food : Included

Ideal Carer : Gentle, quiet Carer who is patient and kind, who has good English and who is happy to be a companion to Mrs AV. The booking would suit a Carer who loves the countryside as the location is rural.

About the client :
Lovely quiet lady who is looking for a friend and companion to help her remain as independent as possible whilst living in her own home. Mrs AV has a great sense of humour and likes to have a giggle with her Carer. Her condition can change from day to day. Some days she will not feel like herself and will seem off and upset. Mrs AV is mobile with a three-wheeled walker. She has occasional falls.
Mrs AV requires companionship, assistance with personal care, dressing and undressing, support with medication, food shopping, and light housework (there is a weekly cleaner). She also needs her meals cooked. She likes home-cooked nutritious hot meals. Carer to include Mrs AV in the cooking and other activities and chores around the home.

General Condition: Signs of memory loss, Frail, osteoporosis and anaemia, Poor hearing, Previous bowel cancer, Glaucoma, cataract operations on both eyes

Continence Care : Continent

Equipment to be used : Mrs AV uses a 3-wheeled walker

Client Dietary Requirements: Fresh, hot, homecooked meals.
