Job Description

We are now recruiting for a full time Live in Carer to support the care of a couple based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. The duties would include the following:

• Assist clients to live at home as safely and independently as possible
• Ensure clients are kept safe and free from harm, abuse and neglect
• Enable clients to take prescribed and over-the-counter medication safely as required
• Assist with personal care as required
• Provide companionship and emotional support as required
• Enable the client to mobilise as safely as possible
• Assist with cooking and cleaning, ensuring the home is kept in a clean and orderly state
• Assist client with activities of daily living as required
• Prepare healthy food to the client’s specification as required
• Respond to advice/instruction from Care Manager as appropriate
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained

Previous experience as a live-in carer is essential.
