Job Description

We are seeking a live-in companion with caring skills to assist a delightful 65-year-old lady in North Yorkshire, who is living with moderate Alzheimers. The successful candidate will promote and be involved in daily activities, including dance and singing groups, coffee mornings, shopping and hair and beauty care etc.  You will need to offer discreet assistance with personal care. The position includes rent-free self-contained bedsit accommodation with utility bills paid. Some assistance with basic housework will also be required.

The successful candidate must have confident driving skills and a clean driving licence. The ability to prepare basic daily meals will be required. Ideally should be comfortable around two very friendly dogs, and accompany daily exercise 

This is a semi full-time position of approx 20 weeks per year with flexible hours including weekend working. 

Recent checkable references and a DBS are required.
