Job Description

We are looking for a carer for a delightful gentleman in his 80s who lives in Overton, Hampshire. He used to be a classical guitar teacher and still really enjoys playing music, mostly the piano these days. Being active in the garden is another passion. He’s a very open minded person and interested in talking about lots of different things, in particular philosophy, and is very open to other people’s viewpoints. But due to Alzheimer’s he struggles with short term memory and can get confused about things. He has a very pleasant nature and a lovely supportive family. There is no personal care required, it’s more for someone to be around to prompt when things need to be done and to have a companion to do daily activities. 

We are looking for a main carer to work on a 6 weeks on 2/3 weeks off rotation with another carer. The start date would be 10th September and the initial period would be until 22nd October. 

The pay is £630 in addition to food and up to £50 round trip towards travel within the UK. 

This would be suitable for male or female carers.
