Job Description

Active Assistance Group is a highly successful specialist care provider, supporting physically disabled and complex care clients to live independently in their own home. We are currently looking for a passionate, reliable and experienced femaleCare Assistantto join our team providing live in care for aclient with a Spinal Cord Injury located in Gillingham, Kent.

The role consists of assisting our client with his morning/evening routine and daily activities. Our client is a well-read gentleman with a good sense of humour and he has an interest in; music, astronomy, reading, watching films and history/geography - a common interest would be beneficial. Previous experience in a care setting is advantageous. The ideal applicant will be organised, flexible and have excellent communication skills.

A full, clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive our client’s adapted vehicle.

Shift pattern: Live-In 4 days on, three days off.

Shifts to cover: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Rate of pay: £90 per shift.

Full training provided with an opportunity to progress your career and study for your Health and Social Care qualifications.
