Job Description

I need a compassionate female carer to live in with my disabled sister in Coventry. You will be one of the key people in her life helping her with all the chores of daily living. She is disabled down her right side, but is still able to walk with her walking frame, under supervision and with assistance. She requires assistance with personal care, mobility, dressing, medication and laundry and taking her to all medical appointments.

You will be undertaking all everyday household chores like cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping. You will be a good cook capable of cooking healthy vegetarian punjabi meals for you both. The most important job of all will be spending quality time with her, keeping her company, putting a smile on her face and helping her maintain a degree of independence.

I am looking for someone who truly cares, you must have a sunny disposition and a kind and patient personality. A sound command of Punjabi and English is required. You must be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. I am looking for two carers to share this position with a one week on/one week off rotation however this is negotiable.

This is a self employed position. A qualification in care is required and previous live in experience is preferable. You must have an up to date DBS check and previous references available to take up.
