Job Description

Enviva Care is seeking Live-In Carers to work across the South of England. Applicants will be required to provide one to one, 24 hour care to mainly elderly people, living in their own homes. Carers will work for the client on behalf of Enviva Care and be paid by Enviva Care, rather than the client.

Applicants must have: Some previous care experience, excellent spoken and written English, excellent time keeping, a kind, flexible and empathetic nature, excellent cooking skills with the ability to cook fresh, healthy, British meals.

Applicants must be able to take direction from the Enviva team and the clients themselves. Our clients wishes lie at the heart of all that we do and expect nothing less than an excellent service. 
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. You do not need to have a car but holding a full driving license with the ability to drive in the UK is an advantage.

Applicants should be available for interview and training for 5 days. We aim to place suitable applicants as quickly as possible. Enviva will provide accommodation for those who require it. Applicants will be required to make a contribution towards a DBS check. We currently only require applicants who are able to attend our interview and training days from the 8th June 2015 and start work soon after.

Our office is based in Alton, Hampshire. We are able to provide accommodation for carers wishing to stay during the training. Pay rates start from £480.00-£560.00 per week. We do not specify how long our carers work for, it is dependent on carer choice and availability of work. Some carers work for several months before having a break and some work for just a few weeks on a rota basis.

Applicants will be required to take part in a telephone interview prior to attending training.

We are not seeking male applicants at this time.
