Job Description

The Good Old Fashioned Care Company is looking for a mature, dedicated, compassionate carer to provide live- in care for an elderly lady who lives in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire.

The elderly lady is living with dementia and is looking for a mature live-in carer to help her retain her independence living in her own home. The role would suit either one carer or two carers looking for various work patterns.

As this will be the first time the customer has had a live-in carer, the position will be reviewable after the initial 6 weeks.

The successful applicant will have a caring nature, be kind, compassionate, warm and friendly and ideally have experience in Care.  

Full training and support is given, including our own Induction Training and regular visits from the Care Manager.

The starting salary is £450.00 per week, plus 5.6 days pro-rata holiday p.a. and full board and meals provided.

Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS check.
