Job Description

We are a thriving, friendly family run business, established in 1995. We employ, train and provide Care Workers to assist people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and/or challenging behaviour. Our passion is to make a difference to people’s lives. We have a genuine desire to care and support people with disabilities, we value team work and supporting each other.

We are looking to recruit Live-in care workers in Hertfordshire to join our fantastic Live-in care team. You will reside in the client’s home for a period of between 1 and 12 weeks depending on their needs and circumstances. You could be working with people who have complex needs, elderly clients, people with acquired spinal injuries and clients with physical and learning disabilities. We mainly provide care in and around London and the South East, however we may have referrals from all over the UK.

Experience is desirable but not necessary as we offer full induction and training alongside the opportunity to develop your knowledge through professional training and qualifications.

The requirements -

• A driving licence is essential
• Flexibility and able to adapt to any given situation
• Good understanding of written and oral English
• You will need to be warm, friendly, enthusiastic, reliable and a patient person who enjoys working the care sector
• You will need to be competent in housekeeping and cooking, with good social and communicational skills
• Able to attend an induction week (5 days) in St Albans, Hertfordshire
• New recruits must be willing to undertake immediate DBS check (CRB), unless a valid one is available on the update service
